Description

The core purpose of Trinity Lands Ltd is to help our communities by funding community-run programmes, enabling enthusiastic and hard-working local groups to support those who face challenges.

This Orchard Worker – Summer Pruning role will support the orchard with various activities as directed and guided by the Supervisor.

This is a fixed term position starting on 12th October 2026 and finishing on 27th November 2026.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Canopy maintenance, including: – Pruning, bud thinning, and girdling.

• Orchard maintenance including: – Crop protection, tidying, repairs.

• Active member of the orchard team.

• All other activities as directed by the Supervisor.

The successful candidate must:

• Be physically fit and able to stand, walk, and lift for long hours.

• Be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Have the ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a team.

• Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand (e.g., Working Holiday Visa)

• On orchard experience would be advantageous.
