Description

Are you ready for the ultimate career road trip?

Partner with leaders. Shape people strategy. Make an impact.

At Travvia Group, we operate the iconic JUCY and Star RV brands and are looking for an experienced, high-energy People & Culture Business Partner to join our Trans-Tasman P&C team.

If you’re commercially minded, enjoy partnering with leaders and love rolling up your sleeves to solve people challenges, this could be your next big adventure. You’ll work across our Australia and New Zealand operations, supporting corporate, operational and frontline teams.

The Adventure That Awaits You

As our P&C Business Partner, you’ll be a trusted advisor to our leaders, bringing commercial insight and practical solutions across the employee lifecycle.

You’ll partner with leaders across Australia and New Zealand on people strategies, workforce planning, talent acquisition, succession, career development and performance management aligned to business objectives.

You’ll lead and support employment relations processes, providing guidance on employment legislation, policies and awards and ensuring matters are fair, consistent and compliant, while supporting organisational restructures and change programmes with practical people solutions across the employee lifecycle.

You’ll partner with the Head of P&C on remuneration, reward and recognition, and use people data and insights to identify trends, risks and opportunities to support informed decision-making.

You’ll also drive employee engagement, culture, health, safety and wellbeing initiatives, turning employee feedback into action, while travelling to branches across New Zealand occasionally as required.

What You Bring To The Journey

You’re an experienced HR professional who understands that great people partnering is about both people and the business.

You’ll bring:

  • Proven HR Business Partnering or senior HR experience, ideally 5+ years across corporate and frontline/operational teams.
  • Strong New Zealand employment legislation knowledge, with confidence managing complex ER, performance and workplace matters.
  • Proven experience partnering with senior leaders and coaching managers, with experience across organisational change, talent management, recruitment, workforce planning and employee engagement.
  • A commercially pragmatic and solutions-focused approach, balancing employee and business needs, with strong influencing, communication and relationship-building skills and the confidence to have challenging conversations and constructively challenge leaders.
  • Strong organisation and resilience, with the ability to manage competing priorities, work autonomously and collaborate across P&C.

Optional Extras For The Journey

  • Australian employment legislation and industrial relations experience.
  • Experience with Employment Hero and SafetyCulture.

What Success Looks Like

You’ll know you’re making an impact when:

  • Leaders see you as a trusted, commercially minded P&C advisor
  • Employee relations matters are handled promptly, fairly and consistently, with strong compliance across our people practices.
  • Engagement, culture, health and safety initiatives translate into meaningful action, with P&C recognised as practical, responsive and focused on delivering results.
