Summary:

We’re looking for an experienced Operator to join our Construction & Group Housing team in Auckland. If you’re skilled on excavators and earthmoving equipment, take pride in high-quality finishing work, and enjoy working as part of a professional team, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

Reporting to the Manager, you’ll be responsible for operating excavators and other machinery across a variety of landscape construction projects. Your work will include excavation, grading, earthworks, site preparation, and detailed finishing work to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards.

This role requires someone who can work independently, read plans accurately, and make sound decisions on site while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and productivity.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience operating excavators and earthmoving equipment.
  • Experience in landscape construction, civil works, or similar industries.
  • Ability to carry out precision excavation and finishing work.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings.
  • Strong understanding of safe machinery operation.
  • Full New Zealand Driver Licence. (Class 2 licence is advantageous)
