SUNDAYS is a warm and welcoming neighbourhood restaurant set in a beautifully restored 1933 church, serving up Italian-inspired food (we ❤️ pizza), handcrafted cocktails and genuine hospitality in Country Lane, Queenstown. We’re known for our community vibe, our commitment to simple done well, and a team culture that’s grounded in collaboration, kai-zen (continuous improvement), and having a damn good time doing what we do.

We’re on the lookout for a Server to join our small, close-knit team. Ideally, you’ll already hold a Duty Manager’s Certificate (or be willing to obtain one with our support). While this role is primarily focused on leading service on the floor, we’re looking for someone who is confident across the board – from hosting and running the floor to supporting behind the bar and on the coffee machine. You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, supporting the team, and helping us deliver a consistently outstanding guest experience.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in a FOH role in a fast-paced environment

• Current Duty Manager’s Certificate (or willingness to complete one)

• Confidence in bartending and/or barista work a bonus

• A team player who brings positive energy and professionalism

• Someone who thrives working with systems and structure to keep service running smoothly

• Must have the right to work in NZ – we are not offering visa sponsorship at this stage
