We are looking for four Chefs, two Bakers/Pastry Chefs and two Assistant Restaurant Managers to join our professional hospitality team in Christchurch. These are full-time, permanent positions each offering a minimum of 35 guaranteed hours per week, with rostered shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

About the Role
As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to established recipes, specifications and presentation standards while working efficiently as part of a professional kitchen team. You will take responsibility for an allocated section of the kitchen during service and maintain consistent standards of food quality, preparation, presentation and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking menu items in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards

You will manage daily production requirements efficiently while maintaining consistency, food safety and presentation standards.

- Preparing and producing breads, pastries, baked goods and other bakery and pastry products
- Measuring, mixing, preparing, shaping, proofing and baking products
- Preparing and working with doughs and other bakery mixtures
- Following established recipes and production specifications

ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER – 2 POSITIONS
About the Role
We are looking for two experienced Assistant Restaurant Managers to support the Restaurant Manager with the day-to-day operation of the venue and the delivery of a high standard of food, service and guest experience.
You will play an active role in leading the front-of-house team during service, maintaining operational standards and ensuring the restaurant runs efficiently and professionally. This is a hands-on leadership position suited to an experienced hospitality professional who is confident leading a team and managing the demands of a busy restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Restaurant Manager with the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, including covering their duties during periods of leave
- Leading and supervising front-of-house staff during service
- Ensuring consistently high standards of guest service and hospitality
- Managing service flow and responding effectively to operational issues as they arise
- Completing opening and closing procedures and ensuring the venue is prepared for service
- Supporting staff training, development and performance
- Managing staff communication, delegation and shift coordination
- Monitoring compliance with food safety, health and safety and company procedures
