One of our Squirrel Money team members is heading off on an internal secondment. We need someone to step into this Investor Client Services role for six months. You’ll look after our investors and borrowers and keep everything behind the scenes running smoothly.

What you’ll do

• Be the friendly first point of contact for investors and borrowers by phone and email. You’ll answer queries, guide applications and close the loop on feedback.
• Support our Lending Operations and Credit teams. That means pre-qualifying loan applications, preparing loan documents (including guarantees and PPSR registrations) and keeping records accurate.
• Act on investor instructions, onboard retail and wholesale investors, and help with investment reporting and platform admin.
• Manage accounts in arrears, working with our credit team and partners to get the right outcome.
• Make sure AML/CFT processes are followed, and help with audits when needed.
• Spot ways to do things better and help test improvements to the platform.

What you’ll bring

• Ideally have some exposure to investment operations or lending operations process from working in a bank, finance or investment company.
• Client-facing experience. You’re as comfortable on the phone as you are in writing.
• A sharp eye for detail, and you stay organised and calm when things get busy.
• You learn fast. Six months goes quickly, so you’ll want to hit the ground running.
• A finance or business qualification is a strong preference.
