Smart Environmental Limited works on behalf of local councils, businesses, and communities across New Zealand. Recently acquired by Blue Plane our mission is to divert waste from landfill, and with a large fleet of collection vehicles and line haul operations, we are committed to driving sustainability for the communities and businesses we serve.

About the Role:

Contract Type: Casual  

Days of Work: As and When Required

Key responsibilities:

• Cover for employees who are on Annual or Sick Leave
• Logging information on Eroad/Logbook
• Trained to safely operate one of our range of vehicles
• Keep fit while you work – you may be required to get in and out of the truck multiple time’s

Skills and experience:

• Holds a NZ Class 4 driver’s licence or equivalent.
• LEV experience is desirable but don’t worry training will be provided
• Wheels Tracks and Rollers is advantageous
• Forklift Endorsement is essential
• Comfortable working at heights
• Able to work flexible hours
• Confident with technology as you will be required to use a phone
