Responsibilities:

– Prepare and present dishes in accordance with the restaurant’s menu and standards.

– Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills.

– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.

– Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.

– Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and available.

– Collaborate with the head chef and other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Qualifications:

– Culinary qualification from a recognised institution.

– Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a fast-paced kitchen environment.

– Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.

– Excellent culinary skills with a passion for food and presentation.

– Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.

– Strong communication and teamwork skills.
