Description

Connect. Deliver. Grow.

At Right2Drive, we help people discover their Right to Drive — whether that’s getting back on the road after an accident, enjoying the flexibility of a car subscription, or rethinking how fleets are managed.

With operations across Australia and New Zealand, we’re proud to provide smart, customer-focused mobility solutions that make driving simpler and more accessible for everyone.

Our DNA is built on care, accountability, and progress — and we’re looking for a leader who shares our drive to deliver excellence and make a real impact

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a proven new-business sales professional who knows how to open doors, build influence, and win share with collision repairers and vehicle dealerships across Wellington and the wider Lower North Island.

If you already have strong relationships with repairers, dealers, or automotive referrers, and you’re willing to roll up your sleeves, get your hands dirty, and do what it takes to win and keep business — this role is built for you.

Reporting to the National Manager, you will own and grow the Lower North Island territory, with a primary focus on:

  • Winning new repairers’ and dealership relationships
  • Expanding engagement with existing referrers
  • Driving sustained revenue growth through disciplined sales activity

This is a field-based, relationship-driven role where success comes from consistent prospecting, face-to-face engagement, and commercial follow-through.

You’ll plan and execute your own sales rhythm, identifying targets, booking visits, educating partners on Right2Drive’s value proposition, and converting opportunities into long-term referrer relationships.

This role involves regular travel throughout the Lower North Island to support new and existing accounts. From time to time, you will also travel to Auckland to support national sales initiatives, key accounts, or strategic opportunities, working closely with the wider NZ team.

Importantly, this is not a “stay in the office” sales role. When needed, you will be on the ground supporting operations, including delivering vehicles, assisting customers, and helping resolve issues in real time. You see this as part of building trust, not someone else’s problem.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Proactively hunting new business with collision repairers and dealerships
  • Leveraging existing industry relationships to accelerate growth
  • Building trusted partnerships through regular, structured visits
  • Positioning Right2Drive as the preferred mobility partner
  • Managing your pipeline and activity through CRM with discipline and accuracy
  • Working closely with internal teams to deliver great outcomes for customers and partners
  • Traveling throughout the Lower North Island, with additional travel to Auckland, to support sales growth
  • Stepping in operationally where required, including vehicle deliveries and customer interactions — to protect relationships and outcomes

What We’re Looking For

This role will suit someone who is:

  • A true sales hunter with a track record of winning new business
  • Experienced selling into collision repairers, automotive dealerships, or related automotive services
  • Well-connected in the Wellington / Lower North Island repairer network (highly desirable)
  • Commercially minded, self-directed, and comfortable working autonomously
  • Practical, hands-on, and comfortable operating in the real world — not just from a CRM

You’ll also bring a valid driver’s licence with a solid driving record, a willingness to travel regularly as part of the role, strong organisational skills with disciplined follow-up, and a customer-first mindset with the resilience to confidently handle objections and complexity.

  • The Proposed Solution

    What’s in it for You

At Right2Drive, we believe in recognising great performance and supporting growth opportunities.

    You’ll benefit from:

    • A competitive salary package, company vehicle and fuel card
    • Employee benefits including retail discounts, paid parental leave, and referral bonuses
    • Career development and progression pathways within a national business
    • A supportive leadership team that values initiative, results and empowers decision-making
