About the role

We’re looking for a Procurement Manager to lead procurement strategy across our manufacturing operations in Hastings and Minto (Sydney).

This is a senior, group-wide role. You’ll shape how procurement is structured across both plants — from supplier strategy and contract management to purchasing processes and governance — and continually identify opportunities to strengthen cost, quality, resilience and service. You’ll also lead our purchasing teams in both countries, making sure day-to-day buying is aligned to the bigger picture.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you’ll bring proven experience leading procurement change at scale, and the commercial judgement to deliver it.

Key focus areas

Strategy & Leadership

• Set and deliver procurement strategy across NZ and AU, continually identifying opportunities to improve cost, quality and supply resilience
• Lead, coach and develop the purchasing teams across both sites

Sourcing & Suppliers

• Source and negotiate with suppliers of raw materials, components, finished goods and services, including pricing, payment terms and rebates
• Manage supplier performance, qualification and risk, including ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 requirements
• Build cost-effective, resilient international supply chains

Processes, Systems & Inventory

• Drive consistent, best-practice purchasing processes and governance across both sites
• Lead consistent use of Epicor to improve data quality and spend visibility
• Optimise inventory levels to balance cost with seasonal demand

About you

You’re a commercially sharp procurement leader who can set clear direction, build a credible plan, and deliver it with pace across multiple sites and countries. You’re a strong negotiator, you get things done, and people trust you to deliver.

You’ll bring:

• Significant senior procurement experience with a track record of delivering targeted outcomes
• 5+ years in a leadership role
• Experience building cost-effective international supply chains
• Hands-on experience across end-to-end supply chain processes
• Raw material specification knowledge
• Experience with an ERP system
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant business discipline
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills

Highly regarded:

• Experience setting up supply chains out of China
• Epicor experience
• A manufacturing background
• Understanding of Lean methodologies
