We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Farm Manager to join our team in the Canterbury region and play a key role in supporting farm operations as we establish our presence in New Zealand.
This position is being recruited in anticipation of a proposed business expansion and presents a unique opportunity to help shape the future of our New Zealand operations, subject to the completion of acquisition and regulatory approval processes.
About the Role
As an Assistant Farm Manager, you’ll help lead the day-to-day operations of a modern broiler farm, supporting performance, animal welfare, biosecurity and safety standards while developing a high-performing team.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Previous poultry farming experience, ideally in an Assistant Farm Manager or senior production role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A commitment to animal welfare, biosecurity and safety.
- The ability to monitor performance, solve problems and drive continuous improvement.
- A passion for agriculture and leading people.
