Te āhua o te mahi | What you will be doing
Provide programme leadership for Te Tumu Waiora (TTW) across Canterbury, South Canterbury and the West Coast, helping contracted providers deliver consistently against regional programme objectives. This role leads through influence, trusted advice and strong cross-sector relationships.
You will bring together regional performance information, develop clear reporting and turn data into practical insights that evidence programme effectiveness. You will share these insights with providers, support informed resource-allocation decisions, identify risks and opportunities, and encourage continuous improvement and sustained achievement against contracted outcomes.

You are an analytical and collaborative programme leader who can translate complex information into clear insights, constructive conversations and practical action. You will bring:
- A genuine passion for improving equitable access to primary mental health and addiction services and using evidence to strengthen outcomes for people and communities
- Experience leading or coordinating complex programmes, ideally within health or primary care
- Strong capability in performance monitoring, data analysis and reporting, including translating findings into meaningful insights for varied audiences
- Experience working with contracted outcomes, service performance, resource planning and continuous improvement
- The ability to lead through influence, establish high-trust provider relationships and support collective accountability across a multi-provider environment
- Knowledge of primary healthcare, Te Tiriti o Waitangi, tikanga Māori and Hauora Māori, with a commitment to equitable health outcomes
