Mō te tūnga| Role Overview
The Tautoko Hauora Primary Health Navigator role focuses on the health and well-being of low income, Maori, Pacific Island, CALD, Rainbow, Youth, and people with disabilities who are not enrolled and are seeking enrolment preferably with a Pegasus PHO Practice. The primary purpose of the Services to Improve Access (SIA) project is to develop and enhance pathways to and from Pegasus General Practices and other health related agencies.

- Essential: A relevant tertiary level qualification (e.g. social work) and/or relevant experience working with target group (low income, Maori, Pacific, CALD, Rainbow, Youth and those with disabilities)
- Essential: Experience in working with individuals, families and communities who are marginalised, vulnerable and at times isolated within their community
- Essential: Experience working within the Health and/or Social Services sector
- Essential: Competent in working with Maori, Pacific, CALD (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) Communities
- Adequate understanding of Word, Excel and Outlook and able to use current technology (smart phone, tablet etc)
- Understand boundaries of the role and be able to establish and manage clear and safe boundaries with whaiora
