Job scope:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant to join our team in Auckland. This permanent, full-time role supports our Finance Managers to manage Oyster’s finance and accounting operations, including managing the financial reporting of a diverse range of retail and commercial property funds/schemes managed by Oyster. With your background in accounting, you will bring expertise and support to the team, helping to foster a continuous improvement focus and the delivery of quality, timely outputs to stakeholders across the business.

Eligibility criteria:

Ideally you will have 3-4+ years’ accounting experience and while it’s not essential, being CA / CPA qualified, would be advantageous.

You will need to be well-versed dealing with numerous work streams effectively and delivering quality outcomes on time, especially during busy periods. Having worked for either a listed company or a financial institution, you’re no stranger to the reporting requirements and governance that come with the territory. You’re a commercial thinker and may also have property industry experience.
