    The role:

     

    We are currently recruiting for a versatile, clever agricultural machinery engineer who has the skills & can-do attitude to work on just about anything! 

    We are looking for someone who has strong general engineering skills and an excellent mechanical ability with a passion for machinery. You will be able to provide efficient repair solutions by thinking outside the square and using clever ingenuity.

    Carry out all servicing and maintenance on a large range of agricultural implements.

    You will be providing assembly, service and repair support to our major brands such as Krone hay & grassland equipment, Hustler feed out equipment & our own imported Agrisem cultivation equipment and Bale Baron machines.

     

    The role will involve both workshop and on-site field service work, and could also include assisting with the set-up of new machinery to clients.

     

    The ideal applicant will have a passion for learning & keen to tackle anything. They are a name and face for the service side of our business and will have the opportunity to form trusting relationships with our farming clients.

    What we are looking for:

     

    Very good general engineering skills with strong welding ability.

    Ideally either mechanical or engineering trade qualified or proven experience of machinery repair of 3+ years

    Extremely practical with a mechanical aptitude & able to turn their hands to any machine or task

    Someone who is self-driven and takes pride in delivering high quality workmanship

    Self-organised and an efficient Technician

    Ideally has had exposure to the Ag industry or a passion for it

    Hydraulic & Electrical experience are a major advantage

    Class 2 H.T licence and Forklift licences are an advantage
