Description

Naumi Hotels is an award-winning luxury boutique hotel group known for bold design, memorable guest experiences and a genuine sense of hospitality. We are looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on F&B Supervisor to join our team at Naumi Hotel Auckland Airport.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, this role will support the smooth day-to-day running of our food and beverage outlets, including restaurant, bar, breakfast and events service. You will lead by example on shift, ensure our guests receive warm and polished service and support the wider team to deliver consistently high standards.

This is a full-time permanent position with a minimum of 40 hours per week, worked across Monday to Sunday in line with business requirements..

What you will be doing…

  • Lead and support the F&B team during breakfast, lunch, dinner, bar and event service.
  • Deliver friendly, attentive and personalised service, ensuring every guest has a memorable experience.
  • Coordinate daily shift operations, including team briefings, section allocation, cash-up, opening and closing procedures.
  • Support the training, coaching and development of F&B team members, providing feedback and guidance during service.
  • Ensure food, beverage, presentation, cleanliness and grooming standards are consistently maintained.
  • Handle guest queries, feedback and service recovery promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor stock levels, minimise wastage and support ordering, stocktake and inventory processes as required.
  • Ensure compliance with alcohol licensing requirements, food safety standards, Health and Safety practices and company policies.
  • Work closely with the kitchen, Front Office and leadership teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Support the F&B Manager with rostering, performance conversations and other operational requirements as needed.

Our ideal candidate will have…

  • At least 1–2 years’ experience in a supervisory role within a hotel, restaurant, bar or busy hospitality environment.
  • A genuine passion for food, beverage and delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant and bar service, including wine, cocktails and responsible service of alcohol.
  • A current LCQ License, or the willingness and eligibility to obtain one.
  • Experience leading and motivating a diverse team in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the confidence to manage guest concerns and support team members.
  • A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to stay calm, organised and positive under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays and evening shifts.
  • A positive, reliable and service focused attitude, with pride in creating great guest experiences.
