We’re looking for an enthusiastic and commercially minded Business Development Executive to join our Wellington sales team!

If you have a flair for building relationships, an eye for detail and a passion for turning enquiries into exceptional experiences, this could be your next exciting move.

Working across our two Wellington hotels, you’ll play an important role in supporting conference, events and group sales, helping turn client conversations into confirmed business and seamless guest experiences.

What you’ll be doing…

• Be the first point of contact for conference, event and group accommodation enquiries across our Wellington hotels.
• Prepare engaging proposals, quotations and tailored packages that bring our spaces and experiences to life.
• Follow up on opportunities, build client relationships and support enquiry conversion.
• Coordinate venue inspections and client appointments, showcasing what makes Naumi unique.
• Manage booking confirmations, contracts, event orders and venue diaries with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Work closely with our Sales, Events, Food & Beverage and hotel operations teams to ensure seamless handovers.
• Identify opportunities to maximise business and connect clients with the right Naumi experiences.
• Keep sales records and booking information organised, accurate and up to date.

What we’re looking for…

• Previous experience in hospitality sales, reservations, events coordination or a customer facing administration role.
• A natural communicator who enjoys connecting with people and delivering excellent service.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities without missing the finer details.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a genuine interest in sales and business development.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and the ability to learn hotel booking and sales systems.
• A collaborative team player who brings energy, initiative and a positive attitude.
• Experience in hotels, conference and events or familiarity with Opera would be an advantage.
