Description

Road Marking Operator / Class 1 + 2 Driver – Night Shift

We are seeking reliable and motivated Road Marking Operators / Class 1 and 2 Drivers to join our night-shift team based in Penrose, Auckland. This is a hands-on role suited to applicants with full Class 1 and Class 2 driver licences, able to drive manual vehicles who are interested in developing practical skills in the road marking industry.

The role is not limited to driving. You will be trained to operate road marking equipment and will work closely with your offsider to complete each job safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

About the Role

·Assist with traffic control and cone layout to protect the road marking crew and worksite

·Train to operate road marking equipment for paint, rumble strips, and cat’s eyes

·Load and unload equipment, materials, and supplies

·Drive shadow vehicles as part of the road marking operation

·Work alongside your offsider as part of a two-person team

·Complete physically demanding outdoor work, primarily at night

About You

·Full Class 1 and full Class 2 driver licences

·Ability to drive a manual vehicle

·Reliable, safety-focused, and willing to learn

·Good physical fitness, including the ability to comfortably lift up to 25kg

·Good English communication skills

·Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test

·Legal right to work in New Zealand

Desirable Experience

·TTM, TC1, or TMO certification; training may be available

·Previous experience in roading, traffic management, civil construction, or road marking

Hours and Location

·Night shift, generally starting from 7:00pm

·Based in Penrose, Auckland

·Hours may vary depending on workload and weather conditions
