At McIntyre Dick, we help our clients build stronger businesses through clear, accurate financial records and genuine business advice. We’re in the business of turning complexity into clarity — and it’s the people we do it with that sets us apart.
The role
You’ll be at the heart of what we do. Your days will include:
- Preparing financial statements and tax returns
- Delivering work that consistently exceeds client expectations
- Having a real hand in strengthening how we operate through improving our processes and systems
- Engaging directly with clients and our Principals to understand what matters most — and providing the insights that make a real difference in moving their businesses forward.
Growth here happens at every level. You’ll be building your own capability, knowledge and expertise while actively supporting our developing team members to do the same. It’s simply how we work.
We invest in your growth:
- Personalised development plan tailored to your goals
- Access to internal and external training that actually builds your career
- Career progression pathways across all areas of our business
- The chance to mentor and be mentored by experienced leaders in the field
What we’re looking for
Alongside your strong technical knowledge, what really matters is that you enjoy solving problems, you work well with others and actually care about getting things right. You’ve got the experience and the appetite to keep learning and developing, whether that’s through formal training or picking up skills from the talented people around you.
What you’ll get as part of our team
- Competitive salary and flexibility
- Inner city parking and a quick commute
- Regular team connection (we’re pretty social)
- Genuine investment in you and your whānau including our annual Big Day Out, social events and family events
- Workplace culture that prioritises health and wellbeing
