Kitchen & Cabinetry CAD Detailer

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen & Cabinetry CAD Detailer to join our dynamic team in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty. This permanent, full-time role is essential for translating design concepts into detailed technical drawings, ensuring precision and quality in our cabinetry projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our joinery manufacture, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed CAD drawings for kitchen and cabinetry designs based on client specifications and architectural plans.
• Collaborate with designers and assemblers to ensure designs meet functional and aesthetic requirements.
• Review and revise drawings as necessary, incorporating feedback from stakeholders.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Maintain an organised library of CAD files and project documentation.
• Prepare Material Lists and Purchase Orders
• Maintain and update Smartsheet database
• Stay updated with the latest CAD software and design trends in the cabinetry industry.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CAD Detailer, preferably in the kitchen and cabinetry sector.
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as Cabinet Vision ideally.
• Strong understanding of cabinetry construction methods and materials.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality technical drawings.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
