Kinross is recognised as the best wine experience in the country. Our Kinross Cellar Door is a destination for Central Otago wines where we represent five amazing wineries – Hawkshead, High Garden, Kinross, Valli & Wild Irishman.

No regular late nights, no split shifts. Our Bistro is open 10am – 7pm, 7 days with only a few dinner shifts for events.
Hourly rate of $26 – 28 + bonuses & tips
About you:
- Have 1+ years hospitality or front of house experience
- Deliver friendly, engaging and memorable service with every interaction
- A positive attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- A love of people, wine, and food
- Clean, professional clothing and stellar grooming habits
- Reliable transport
Roles Available
Front of House
- Take orders with accuracy and personality with genuine passion for customer service.
- Confident explaining dishes and provide beverage recommendations.
- Anticipate guest needs and stay one step ahead at all times.
Barista
- Previous experience as a Barista in a busy venue
- Great knowledge of different types of coffee
Bartender
- Previous experience as a Bartender in a busy venue
- Have wine, spirits and cocktail knowledge.
- The ability to maintain a clean and tidy restaurants and bar area, ensuring they are well presented and well stocked.
Concierge
- Welcome & answering guest queries for Kinross hotel, cellar door and restaurant.
- To take responsibility for understanding and coordinating guest journey at Kinross.
- Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond for guests.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Runner/Buss Person
- Support the bistro through accurate food delivery, table maintenance, resets and the many details that keep service moving.
- Physically fit
- The ability to multi-task and deliver on time
