Description

Could you be the one person everyone goes to?

Every great office has one. The person who knows where everything is, who to call, and how to fix it before anyone notices it was broken. They answer the phone like they’re glad you rang. They see what needs doing and just do it.

We’re looking for ours.

Where you come in  Part receptionist, part organiser, part franchisee whisperer. You’ll be the person who keeps our Auckland branch in Kingsland ticking. On any given day you might:

  • Welcome a franchisee picking up a machine for tonight’s job
  • Take a call from Invercargill, then one from Whangārei
  • Set up the training room for a new group of franchisees (somehow 14 people and 12 chairs)
  • Prepare the paperwork that gets a new client started
  • Update our health and safety app, follow up an outstanding offer, and reorder the good pens
  • Lend a hand to our national operations team

Why it matters  Our purpose is Changing Lives, One Business at a Time. Every day, our franchisees keep thousands of workplaces across New Zealand clean while building businesses of their own, and plenty of them walk through our door. You’ll often be the first person they see, and the one who makes their day easier. We’re New Zealand-owned, with a globally recognised brand, almost 30 years behind us, and sustainability built into how we work.

You’ll thrive here if you

  • Have reception or office administration experience
  • Genuinely like the phone, for our Auckland line and our national calls
  • Have plenty of personality and a knack for putting people at ease
  • Use your initiative. If you don’t know how to do something, you find out. If it’s quiet, you find something useful to do, because there’s always something
  • Are curious, keen to learn and happy to say “what if we tried this?”
  • Are organised, good with detail and calm when it gets busy
  • Know your way around Microsoft Office. Salesforce experience is a bonus

It’s probably not for you if

  • You let the phone ring out and hope someone else gets it
  • You like every day to look exactly the same
  • “That’s not my job” is one of your go-to phrases

What you’ll get

  • $60,500 per year, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm
  • A full induction, so you’re set up to succeed from day one
  • A team that wants your ideas, and enjoys a laugh along the way

How to apply  Send us your CV and a few lines (not an essay) about a time you made something run better. Bonus points if it made you look like a legend. Applicants must have the right to work in New Zealand.
