Auckland Data Centres
Are you an experienced Project Manager ready for your next exciting career challenge? Intravision is seeking a motivated leader to take charge of exciting new projects based around Auckland, New Zealand.
As a member of Intravision’s Data Centre team, you will be responsible to lead and oversee the delivery of large-scale projects for key Intravision clients. Our data centre team delivers a diverse range of solutions for our clients including:
- Structured fibre and copper cabling systems to support BMS, EMS, Security, ICT installations.
- Electronic security systems
- Customer fit outs
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaising and coordination with construction stakeholders – builders, contractors, consultants, architects, and other trades.
- Develop and implement project plans, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and client expectations.
- Development of project documentation, deployment programs, testing procedures, and witness test reports.
- Manage workforce allocation, monitor labour performance, and ensure efficient use of staff.
- Oversee the procurement of materials, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards.
- Manage contract modifications, including negotiating terms and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Monitoring and managing scope variation including preparing variation quotations associated with running projects.
- Prepare and present regular project reports, including progress updates, financial status, and risk assessments, to stakeholders.
- Manage financial responsibility for each project, including progress claims, technical resource efficiencies and completion documentation.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our on-site contractors in the delivery of Intravision projects.
- Ensure compliance with quality, environmental and health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment and implementing necessary safety protocols.
- Willing to complete physical installations as required, including but not limited to fibre installations, splicing, copper installations, audio visual installations and patching and labelling.
Qualifications/Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience managing Data Centre / Communications / Electrical projects with demonstrated experience in a similar commercial organisation.
- Telecommunications technology experience including fibre splicing.
- Experience in preparation of quotes and tenders including input into equipment selection and design considerations.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Qualifications in Data Cabling or Electrical Trade (desirable).
- NZ Site Safety Card, Elevated Work Platform (EWP) and Working at Heights.
- Already hold or have the ability to obtain a national security clearance.
- Current NZ driver’s license.
