When thousands of people arrive for a concert, festival or sporting event, they expect everything to run smoothly.

Behind the scenes, our Events Team is already there — setting up, managing traffic, guiding people, supporting event organisers and helping keep everyone safe.

You could be part of that team.

Depending on your role, you could be:

• Managing traffic and pedestrian movements
• Setting up and removing traffic management sites
• Managing road closures and diversions
• Welcoming and directing eventgoers
• Marshalling vehicles and access points
• Communicating with the public and event teams
• Leading and supporting event crews
• Helping keep eventgoers, road users and your team safe

Every event is different.

One day you could be supporting a major sporting fixture. The next, you could be working at a concert, festival or community event.

It’s fast-paced, people-focused and never quite the same.

CAN YOU HANDLE THE ACTION?

Events can get busy quickly. Crowds can arrive all at once, plans can change and unexpected situations can happen.

We’re looking for people who can:

• Stay calm and think clearly under pressure
• Communicate confidently and respectfully
• Give clear directions and help people when they need it
• Stay alert and aware of what’s happening around them
• Adapt quickly when plans change
• Work well as part of a team
• Be reliable and ready to get stuck in
• Take safety seriously and speak up when something doesn’t look right
• Bring positive energy, common sense and a great attitude

You don’t need to have event experience for every role.

For some positions, experience and relevant qualifications are essential. For others, we can provide training and support if you bring the right attitude and willingness to learn.
