HBH is a well-established, not-for-profit aged care provider dedicated to supporting older people to live with dignity, comfort and respect. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, homely environment for our residents, and our Household team plays an important role in making this happen.

We are looking for reliable and compassionate casual Household Staff to support our kitchen, laundry and cleaning teams when required.

Shifts will be offered based on operational needs, including covering staff leave and absences. Flexibility to work across different days, evenings and weekends will be highly valued.

About the Role

As part of our Household team, you will help ensure our facility remains clean, safe and welcoming for residents, families and staff. Your work will have a direct and positive impact on our residents’ comfort and wellbeing.

Duties May Include

  • Assisting with meal service
  • Providing laundry services, including washing, drying, folding and linen management
  • Completing general cleaning duties
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Supporting different household areas as required
  • Contributing to a positive and respectful environment for residents

What We’re Looking For

  • A caring and respectful approach to working with older people
  • Reliability, flexibility and good time management
  • Availability to accept casual shifts as required, sometimes at short notice
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail and hygiene practices
  • Previous kitchen, laundry, cleaning or aged care experience is helpful but not essential
