Building Wash Technician – Commercial (Auckland)

Join our team as a Building Wash Technician working on commercial properties across Auckland. This is a hands-on, physically active role where no two days are the same.
You’ll be operating from cherry picker trucks and our custom-built waterblasting units, carrying out high-level exterior cleaning. Confidence working at heights is essential, along with the strength and fitness to handle commercial-grade equipment (3,500psi waterblasters).

What the job offers
- Permanent, full-time role: Monday to Friday, plus 1 weekend day a month
- Overtime and additional weekend work available -paid at applicable overtime rates
- Guaranteed minimum of 32 hours per week.
- Hourly rate between $25 – $32 based experience and qualifications
- Full uniform and equipment provided
- Based in Auckland
Job Duties
- Commercial building washing and exterior cleaning
- Operating waterblasting equipment
- Operating elevated work platforms (EWPs)
- Working at heights on commercial sites
- Completing site safety procedures and equipment checks
- Manual handling and hose operation
- Maintaining cleaning equipment and vehicles
What we’re looking for
- Experience in a similar role or transferable skills

Proven experience working at heights and outdoors – this is essential
- Strong focus on safety, with the ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Experience operating Elevated Work Platforms (cherry pickers, scissor lifts, etc.) preferred
- Experience using commercial waterblasters / high-pressure hoses
- Ability to drive manual vehicles (small trucks) is an advantage
- Physically fit, reliable, and motivated
Desirable qualifications
- Full driver’s licence
- Working at Heights certification
- EWP licence
- Site Safe
Other requirements
- Must be able to start early, normally 6:15am, but we do start earlier than that from time to time.Must pass a Ministry of Justice / Police check
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug testing
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand or be eligible to obtain the appropriate work visa.
