Description

Lead our brand-new Auckland studio — behind the camera and at the front of the business.

At Verve Intimate we create intimate portraiture that helps people see themselves differently — celebrated, confident, and completely at ease. We’re opening a new studio in Auckland, and we’re looking for the person who will make it theirs: a talented boudoir photographer ready to step up and run the whole show.

About the role

This is a rare seat. You’ll be the founding Studio Manager of our Auckland studio — but your base craft is photography. You’ll shoot boudoir sessions yourself, lead the studio’s daily operations, and personally guide clients through to their completed sale. Equal parts artist, leader, and closer — the studio’s standard is yours to set from day one.

Full-time, 40 hours per week across 5 days. Rosters include weekend days and some evenings to meet appointment demand.

What you’ll do

  • Shoot beautiful boudoir sessions — guide each client from nervous to celebrated, capturing flattering, technically excellent images to the Verve Intimate standard.
  • Run the studio — own daily operations, scheduling, presentation standards, and the systems that keep everything moving.
  • Process the sales — lead inspiring gallery viewings and design appointments, and carry each client through to a completed sale with clean, same-day admin.
  • Lead a small team — as the studio grows, recruit, train and develop the photographers, designers and makeup artists around you.
  • Deliver a premium experience — every client, from first enquiry to artwork collection, in a private, judgment-free space.

Who you are

  • A boudoir photographer at your core — experienced in intimate portraiture, with a deep understanding of the posing, lighting and angles that make every body look and feel its best.
  • A personality clients love — warm, unhurried and brilliant one-on-one; people book you as much for how you make them feel as for your images.
  • Confident with sales — you can present, inspire and close with grace — and you enjoy it.
  • A natural leader — organised, accountable and calm under pressure; people get better around you.
  • Discreet and reliable — you understand the care an intimate studio demands, and you finish every job on the day.
  • Flexible — available to work weekends and evenings as required.

What’s on offer

  • A founding leadership seat — open a brand-new studio and shape it from the very first client.
  • The backing of an established brand — proven systems, full training in the Verve way, and a supportive network behind you.
  • Rewarding work — a competitive package with genuine performance rewards — discussed at interview.
  • Work that matters — every session gives someone permission to see themselves differently.

How to apply

Apply via SEEK with your CV and a link to your portfolio — we’d love to see your boudoir or intimate portrait work. Applications are handled with complete discretion.

PLEASE NOTE:  Submission without portfolio and application form will not be reviewed.
