Description

As the Sales Manager, you will spearhead the development of a new sales channel focused on establishing and nurturing relationships with retail partners to promote and sell our innovative product range through a new wholesale channel along with working with the Managment team to increase revenue from existing clients. You will be entrusted with the strategic task of building this department from the ground up. This includes actively prospecting new clients, creating a comprehensive client database, and driving significant revenue growth through our existing clients and our platinum partnership offer. This position is ideally suited for a seasoned sales professional with a solid background in engineering, who is self-sufficient, highly motivated, and eager to embark on a career path with extensive development opportunities within our company.

Responsibilities:

New Sales Channel Development:

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to establish and grow a new sales channel focused on retailers.
  • Identify and target potential retail partners, build relationships, and negotiate wholesale agreements.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with retail partners and clients.
  • Act as the main point of contact for retail partners, addressing their needs and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Work with our current clients and find opportunities to put them on platinum partnerships to secure more long-term projects and work for our engineers.
  • Nurture our existing clients once work has been completed to see if there are more opportunities for new work or projects.

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Work with the Commercial manager to develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
  • Actively prospect, identify and qualify new sales leads through various channels (networking, cold calling, referrals, etc.).
  • Present and sell our platinum partnership offer to potential clients, highlighting the value and benefits.
  • Work with the General Manager, Division Managers, and Design engineer to develop new products based on customer requirements.

Database and CRM Management:

  • Build and manage a comprehensive database of potential and existing clients using CRM tools.
  • Track and analyze sales activities, performance metrics, and client interactions to optimize sales processes and strategies.

Product Knowledge and Technical Expertise:

  • Leverage your engineering background to understand and effectively communicate our products’ technical aspects and benefits to clients.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients as needed.

Collaboration and Team Building:

  • Work closely with the Commercial manager, General manager, and Management team to align sales strategies with company objectives.
  • Hire, train, and manage a team of sales representatives as the department grows.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior management.
  • Use data and insights to refine sales strategies and improve overall performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, with a track record of successfully establishing and growing new sales channels.
  • Strong background in engineering, with the ability to understand and communicate technical product details.
  • Exceptional prospecting and lead generation skills, with the ability to build and maintain a robust client database.
  • Self-sufficient, highly motivated, and driven to build a successful career with growth opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
