About The Role
As the Distribution Operations Specialist, you will provide project coordination, operational improvement and strategic execution support across Distribution, enabling leaders and frontline teams to focus on adviser, partner and member outcomes.
Additionally, you will support the Distribution Operations Manager in the successful delivery of Distribution priorities through project coordination, operational excellence, reporting, technology enablement, AI adoption and cross-functional business initiatives.
Your day-to-day will look something like this:
- Lead and coordinate projects and strategic initiatives that support Distribution’s priorities across the business.
- Keep projects running smoothly by managing plans, timelines, risks, actions and stakeholder communications.
- Partner with leaders and cross-functional teams to deliver operational improvements, product launches and other key business initiatives.
- Develop reporting, dashboards and insights that support performance, informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Champion the adoption of technology, automation and AI solutions that improve efficiency and enhance the way our teams work.
- Collaborate across Distribution to provide operational support, strengthen cross-functional relationships and ensure successful delivery of business priorities.
About You

You build trusted relationships, communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and take pride in keeping projects on track. You’re always looking for ways to improve processes and embrace technology, automation and AI to help teams work smarter.
The skills and experience that will help you succeed:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in business or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 3–4 years’ experience in a project coordination, operations or business support role.
- Experience coordinating projects, managing competing priorities and delivering outcomes to agreed timelines.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, continuous improvement mindset with strong problem-solving ability.
- Confidence using technology, automation and AI tools to improve business processes and ways of working.
- Experience in financial services or KiwiSaver would be an advantage.
