About Us

We are a proudly New Zealand-owned, award-winning KiwiSaver and wealth manager. Our mission is to educate and empower our customers to make informed financial decisions and achieve strong long-term performance. With a relentless focus on these goals, we are dedicated to growing Kiwis’ wealth and helping them attain better financial outcomes in retirement.

At our core, we are a purpose-driven business, caring deeply about making a difference. Our passionate team plays a crucial role in bringing our mission to life. We foster a culture of idea-sharing and empowerment, encouraging our people to lead initiatives that positively impact our business, community, and members.

About The Role

As the Distribution Compliance Manager, your primary role is to be the subject matter expert and lead for Distribution in ensuring adherence to both our compliance assurance programme (CAP) and quality assurance programme (QA). This will be achieved by collaborating with Distribution leaders to identify and manage key risks, conducting thorough QA reviews and providing constructive feedback, and identifying adviser and member needs to develop initiatives that enhance their experiences.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Leading risk, compliance and quality assurance across Distribution.
  • Identify trends and improvements through QA, complaints, incidents and customer insights.
  • Translate regulatory requirements into practical controls, training and advice processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement through AI, automation and technology.
  • Provide compliance and quality expertise across projects, products and business change.

What Sets You Apart

You’ll combine deep financial advice and compliance expertise with a practical, commercial mindset—using data, technology and AI to turn compliance into better adviser and member outcomes, not just more process.

  • L5 Certificate in Financial Services (Investment Strand).
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in business, law, or equivalent level of learning.
  • 3 + years in compliance, risk management, or a related field within the financial services industry.
  • Proven hands-on experience working with financial advisers and members, demonstrating a deep understanding of their needs and challenges.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Expert knowledge of financial advice in New Zealand and the FMA Code of Conduct.
  • Initiative Design and Delivery: Demonstrated ability to design and deliver initiatives that significantly enhance the experiences of both advisers and members, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and interpersonal skills.

Why This is The Place for You

Our culture is what sets us apart. We set ourselves high standards, ensuring our work environment is one where people thrive and also have fun. We invest significantly in the well-being of our people and are intentional about celebrating wins.

  • We offer a hybrid model that empowers you to balance work and home life seamlessly.
  • Competitive base salary + bonus package paid twice a year, additional KiwiSaver contribution, corporate benefits, and more!
  • Wellbeing benefits including health insurance, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and discounted gym membership.
  • Thorough induction, study assistance, and ongoing training & support.
