Hospitality Tutor

We’re recruiting permanent, full‑time Hospitality Tutors for our Level 2 programme, starting 21 September 2026 (Wiri) or 5 October and 2 November 2026 (Albany).

You’ll deliver barista, cooking, baking, and front‑of‑house training to youth learners in a supportive, practical teaching environment.

Your key accountabilities will be:

• To develop and deliver effective course materials, lesson plans and assessments for our hospitality programme.
• To provide learning environments which address individual differences and diverse needs of learners and effectively use a variety of teaching and learning methods to inform practice.
• To respond to the needs of students that may affect their ability to complete their course of study or that may reduce their success.
• To meet academic performance and achievement targets as agreed in the Annual Performance Agreement and in accordance with the Business Plan.

You will have the following:

• Qualification in Hospitality at L5 or above.
• Preferred Certificate in Adult Education Level 4 or above or be willing to work towards this.
• Experience in facilitating hospitality workshops/training sessions for individuals and groups.
• Experience in working with Youth and Adult learners.
• Ability to develop innovative, experiential learning activities and assessments to drive learning.
• Ability to build and maintain productive relationships and networks at all levels, with people from a broad range of industry and cultural backgrounds.
