Description

We’re looking for a customer-focused, detail-oriented professional to join our Admissions team and play a key role in shaping the first impression international students have of AIC.

About the Role

 

As our Admissions Specialist, you’ll manage the successful admission of international students from application through to orientation. You’ll assess applications against academic and English proficiency criteria, issue Offers of Place within set timeframes, and ensure applications are assessed accurately.

 

Working closely with our Marketing, Academic, and Student Success teams, you’ll be a trusted point of contact for prospective students and agents, providing clear advice on course enrolment and helping students transition confidently into life at AIC.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Process applications for all programmes with outstanding service to students and education agents, within agreed timelines
  • Verify and cross-reference applications against application requirements
  • Communicate English placement testing results to agents and academic staff
  • Consult with Marketing on matters relating to student recruitment
  • Provide timely admissions and offers reporting to the Admissions Lead
  • Maintain strong relationships with students, colleagues, and immigration contacts

Your skills and experience include:

 

  • Degree level education or equivalent professional experience
  • At least one year in admissions within international education
  • A track record of managing efficient, reliable systems and processes
  • Familiarity with the requirements of relevant statutory bodies
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office 365, Excel, and student management systems
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication
  • The ability to build trust and foster collaboration with staff and students alike
