About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Hand to join our kitchen team This temporary full-time position is essential for supporting our kitchen operations, ensuring a clean and efficient environment that contributes to the overall success of our hospitality and catering services. As a Kitchen Hand, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of food preparation and cleanliness, making a significant impact on our guests’ dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of food items as directed by the kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Support chefs and kitchen staff with various tasks as required
- Help with stock management, including receiving and storing deliveries
- Adhere to food safety and health regulations at all times
Qualifications:
- No formal education required; however, a passion for food and hospitality is essential
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions accurately
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices is preferred
