Flockhill is a 90minute drive from Christchurch with staff accommodation available.

Summary:

We are seeking experienced Front of House team members to join our dynamic team at Sugarloaf – Flockhill’s 2 hat restaurant. This seasonal full-time role is essential for delivering exceptional service in our operation.

The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing the dining experience for our guests, ensuring that all food and beverage services are executed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Serve food and drinks to guests, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas and service stations.
  • Assist in setting up and clearing tables before and after service.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service operations.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a food and beverage service role is required, ideally in a luxury environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
