Factory Hand (Casual)

About the role

Fiordland Lobster Company Ltd is an exporter of live Lobsters with over 30 years in the industry, and a reputation for consistently delivering high-quality products to customers.

We are currently seeking to expand our casual pool of factory workers. You will have a can-do attitude, a strong work ethic, and be physically fit to pack and grade live lobster in our factory, based in Te Anau.

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

• Ability to work flexible hours, including early morning starts, as early as 3 am.
• Willingness to learn, we will teach you how to grade, pack out, and receive Lobster and maintain water quality
• A team player with a can-do attitude
• Attention to detail and able to work within tight time frames
• Strong work ethic and good initiative
• Physically fit – able to lift, move, push and pull heavy items

What we’re looking for

• Good communication and teamwork skills to contribute to a collaborative work environment
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality
• Must have a Full NZ driver’s license and a clean driving record
