About the role

Fiordland Lobster Company Ltd is an exporter of live Lobster with over 30 years in the industry and a reputation for consistently delivering a high-quality product to customers.

Due to growth, we are currently seeking two full-time factory hand with a can-do attitude and a strong work ethic to pack and grade live lobster in our factory in Te Anau.

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early morning starts (as early as 3 am), weekends and public holidays.
  • Willingness to learn, we will teach you how to grade, pack out, and receive Lobster and maintain water quality
  • A team player with a can-do attitude
  • Attention to detail and able to work within tight time frames
  • Strong work ethic and good initiative
  • Physically fit – able to lift, move, push and pull heavy items

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience in a similar assembly or process-oriented role (preferable but not essential)
  • Good communication and teamwork skills to contribute to a collaborative work environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality
  • Must have a Full NZ driver’s license and a clean driving record
