We are looking for a talented Electrical Design Draftsperson / CAD Designer to join our friendly and supportive team. In this role, you will work closely with our Engineers to create designs that are easily understood, safe, and practical to build.
Skills and experience
The ideal candidate should have:
- Electrical design drafting experience, including preparing equipment layouts & schematics.
- Strong understanding and proficiency in AutoCAD, including 3D modelling.
- Experience with other CAD/BIM tools such as Revit, Inventor, GIS, and automation is preferable.
- Knowledge of relevant New Zealand standards and electrical industry practices.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- A keen eye for detail, self-driven, and ability to work independently or in a team.
