Dental Boutique Auckland is looking for a full-time Dental Assistant to join our clinical team. This is a replacement position and an opportunity for an experienced Dental Assistant to work alongside a supportive team while gaining exposure to a range of general, cosmetic and surgical dentistry.

About the Role

As a Dental Assistant, you will support our dentists and clinical team to provide a smooth, high-quality experience for every patient.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing chairside assistance across general, cosmetic and surgical procedures
• Preparing treatment rooms, instruments and equipment
• Supporting high standards of sterilisation and infection control
• Helping patients feel comfortable and well cared for throughout their visit
• Assisting with stock, equipment and general clinical tasks
• Supporting the dentist and wider team with efficient day-to-day clinical workflows

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has at least 1 year of Dental Assisting experience (highly regarded, not essential)
• Is confident working in a clinical environment and supporting dentists chairside
• Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in maintaining high clinical standards
• Communicates professionally and builds positive relationships with patients
• Is reliable, organised and works well as part of a team
• Is keen to continue developing their dental knowledge and skills

Sedation certification is highly regarded and would provide an opportunity to support sedation procedures where required.
