About us 

CORE is a proudly New Zealand-owned timber processing and supply group. Our Papakura machine shop is busy and growing, and we’re looking for reliable, fit people to join a fast-paced team.

The role 

This is hands-on, physical work in a high-tempo production environment, with an immediate start available.

Hours & pay

• Starting rate $23.95 per hour
• 47.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm
• Overtime available
• Production bonus paid weekly

What we’re looking for

• Good level of fitness and reasonable physical strength — this is active, physical work
• Reliable, with a strong record of turning up on time, ready to work
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test (and ongoing testing as required)
• A genuine culture fit who shares our values and works well in a team
• Willing to follow all health and safety requirements on site, every day
• Available to start immediately

No formal qualifications or prior experience required — the right attitude, work ethic, and fitness matter most. We’ll train you.
