Refrigeration Technician

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our logistics distribution and supply chain team in Ruakura, Waikato Region. This permanent, full-time position is crucial for maintaining and optimising our refrigeration systems, ensuring the efficient operation of our supply chain processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and a commitment to delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems and equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve refrigeration issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
• Collaborate with team members to improve system efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to internal teams.

Qualifications:

• Relevant qualification in refrigeration or HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning).
• Proven experience as a refrigeration technician or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of refrigeration systems and components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required.
