Charley Noble has been in the heart of Wellington for 12 years, specialising in premium meats and wood-fired cooking. We have great opportunities for someone wanting to experience a range of cooking in a fast-paced kitchen.

 

Our kitchen has 8 sections:

• Kitchen Hand

• Fryer

• Rawbar

• Larder & Pastry

• Pasta

• Open woodfired Grill

• Pass

 

What we’re looking for: 

Minimum of Level 4 Professional Cookery or relevant experience of at least 2 years

Someone who is healthy, organised and has a can-do attitude (it can be really busy here!)

Someone who is motivated to contribute to our goals and values

Demonstrates leadership to junior chefs with a desire to progress in our kitchen

 

About the role:

Can demonstrate intermediate cooking techniques including hot sections and pans

Service on most sections to 200+ guests per day

Maintaining consistent high quality food and a clean work station

Ordering, prep and stock control
