Our Opportunity

This position is responsible for leading mixing & packing (premix/batching) production operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant processes. You will deliver production targets, maintain batch accuracy and traceability, and ensure adherence to HACCP, GMP, and allergen control standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilise Optimise to set KPI’s for manufacturing targets
  • Monitor product quality, equipment performance, and production efficiency, building a recovery plan where interruptions cause ATP issues
  • Lead day shift daily batching and mixing operations in line with SOPs and production plans ensuring the safe – efficient manufacturing of our product meeting our customers expectations
  • Ensure accurate batching and mixing to formulation requirements, ensuring all staff follow written procedures and approved processes only
  • Maintain focus on inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and timely replenishment activities
  • Supervise production team, allocate tasks, and manage shift handovers
  • Ensure correct inventory usage, FEFO rotation, and traceability
  • Drive continuous improvement, waste reduction, and 5S initiatives
  • Becoming an expert in Mixing and Packing operations, able to fault find and offer knowledge that provides resolution to incidents or quality faults

Our work is exciting, busy and varied. Being part of this success requires:

  • Lead warehouse operations for inbound, WIP, and outbound finished goods
  • Ensuring accurate D365 transactions and inventory control
  • Enforce compliant food safety handling (HACCP/GMP/Allergen) and Quality compliance
  • Safe load planning with 3PL carriers, and effective shift leadership to meet production and customer OTIF.
  • Execute and oversee receipts, put-away, picks, packing and shipment confirmation in D365
  • Lead pre-starts, toolbox talks, and Take-5 checks; enforce LOTO and traffic management plans.
  • Manage dock schedule and resolve exceptions  
  • Running stock receipts audit trails on a daily basis  
  • Ensure Health & Safety performance is always top of mind.

  • Full NZ Drivers Licence is a MUST 
  • Forklift licence ideal (F endorsed and OSH Certificates are desirable)
