About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organised and client-focused Onboarding Specialist to join our Christchurch-based team.
This newly created role will be responsible for managing the new client journey from initial enquiry through to implementation and handover to the ongoing servicing team. As the primary point of contact for prospective and new clients, you will help ensure a seamless, professional, and consistent onboarding experience while supporting the continued growth of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and progress prospective client opportunities through the onboarding process.
- Act as a key point of contact for new clients and support a positive onboarding experience.
- Coordinate client onboarding activities, documentation, and communications.
- Maintain and manage the new business pipeline.
- Gather feedback from prospective and newly onboarded clients.
- Facilitate smooth handovers to Client Services Managers following implementation.
- Work closely with advisers and support teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
What do you need to be successful:
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding client experiences.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work proactively.
- Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative approach.
- Confidence using technology and learning new systems.
- Previous experience in financial services, client service, administration, or a related professional environment would be advantageous.
