About the role
This position is offered on a part‑time basis at 32 hours per week (4 days). There is flexibility to work up to 40 hours per week as workload increases or if you wish to increase your hours over time.
Key Functions:
Work autonomously on projects while collaborating with internal teams
Lead and deliver surveying tasks to a high technical standard and agreed timeframes
Maintain quality control processes for both field and office‑based surveying work in line with professional standards, industry best practice, and regulatory requirements
Manage Projects (small and large) from feasibility through contract procurement, supervision, and delivery, while managing client expectations and critical project pathways
About you:
You will hold one of the following:
- New Zealand Licensed Cadastral Surveyor (LCS), or
- Certified Professional Engineering Surveyor (CPESurv), or
- A relevant surveying qualification (Diploma or Degree) with demonstrated industry experience
Ideally you will have:
- 5+ years’ post‑qualification experience (or equivalent senior experience)
- A practical, “make it happen” approach, and
- Be eligible to work in New Zealand
