Service Manager – Lower Hutt Service Centre
Brendan Foot Supersite is a proudly family-owned and operated dealership, with over 50 years in
business and a strong reputation across the Wellington region.
We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead one of our busy Lower Hutt
multi-franchise workshops.
This is a great opportunity for a capable automotive service leader who enjoys running a busy
workshop, supporting a high-performing team, and delivering excellent customer and
business outcomes.
About the role
As Service Manager, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operation of the workshop
and front-line service team. You will play a key role in ensuring the department runs efficiently, customers are well looked after, and the team is supported to achieve strong results.
You will be responsible for:
- leading, supporting and developing a great service team;
- overseeing workshop productivity, efficiency and workflow;
- driving strong customer service and communication standards;
- managing service department performance, including sales, GP, CSI and operational targets;
- supporting Service Advisors, Technicians and workshop leadership;
- ensuring manufacturer standards, warranty processes and compliance requirements are met;
- identifying opportunities to improve processes, customer experience and department performance;
- creating a positive, accountable and team-focused environment.
About you
We are looking for someone with the experience, confidence and passion to lead a great team to
success.
You will ideally have:
- proven experience as a Service Manager in the automotive industry;
- strong workshop and service department knowledge;
- experience in a franchise dealership environment;
- excellent people leadership skills;
- a practical, solutions-focused approach;
- strong customer service standards;
- confidence managing performance, workflow and department results;
- the ability to build trust and bring people with you;
- a calm, professional approach in a busy environment.
