Many New Zealanders have a KiwiSaver account but don’t really know what to do with it.
You’ll change that.
At Booster, we’re on a mission to build the financial resilience of New Zealanders — and our Customer Success team is at the heart of that mission. We’re looking for a KiwiSaver Financial Adviser who genuinely loves helping people and gets a buzz from a great conversation.
About the role
This isn’t a call centre job. It’s a licensed financial advice role where you’ll build real relationships with Booster members — educating them on their KiwiSaver, helping them make great decisions, and empowering them to take confident steps towards a brighter financial future.
You’ll guide members through the Booster KiwiSaver Financial Journey — whether that’s someone just getting started, a member making their first home withdrawal, switching funds, or thinking about retirement. Working closely with our Client Relationship Specialists, you’ll share onboarding and retention conversations and connect with prospective members through a range of lead avenues.
Every conversation — over video or phone — is an opportunity to make a genuine difference.
What you’ll be doing
- Educating and guiding members through key KiwiSaver decisions — fund selection, contribution strategy, first home withdrawals, retirement planning
- Building trusted, lasting relationships that keep members engaged with their financial future
- Onboarding new members, running retention conversations, and checking in at key financial milestones
- Delivering personalised, compliant KiwiSaver financial advice under Booster’s FAP licence
- Connecting with prospective members and showing them what a genuinely helpful KiwiSaver experience looks like
What we’re looking for
You don’t need to have it all figured out — but you do need to be the kind of person who lights up in a one-to-one conversation and genuinely loves helping people make sense of their financial future.
-
A natural with people — warm, curious, and someone who builds trust quickly
-
Motivated by impact — you want more than just a job; you’re driven by Booster’s mission of helping New Zealanders get on the financial front foot
-
Some financial services experience — whether that’s advice, member services, or a customer-facing role in financial services
-
Working towards or holding the NZ Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5), investment strand — if you haven’t started yet, we’d love to chat about your commitment to getting there. Study support and training provided
-
Enthusiasm to learn — hungry for ongoing development and keeping up with what’s happening in the adviser world
Why Booster?

- A clear mission you can get behind — building the financial resilience of New Zealanders
- Full training, tools, and support to set you up for success from day one
- Study support towards Level 5 if you need it
- Real career development in a growing advice team
- A warm, tight-knit team that genuinely cares about the work and each other
