Description

Summary:

We are looking for a skilled labourer to join our team and contribute to a range of civil construction projects across the Canterbury area.

Ideal Candidate:

Resides in the Christchurch area.
Has experience in civil trades and construction work.
Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a team environment.
Experienced on Mobile plant
Class 4 Drivers

Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of tasks related to civil construction projects.
Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Installation of kerb and channel, or experience with concrete formation.
Perform general civil labour duties as required.
Operate a variety of hand and power tools.
Operate equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
Ensure all work is completed in a safe and efficient manner.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and a “can-do” attitude.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in civil trades and construction work.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a variety of weather conditions.
Class 4 driver’s license preferred (support provided to attain if not held).
Site Safe or similar safety training (advantageous).
