As one of New Zealand’s leading manufacturers of carbon-neutral wood fuels and sustainable wood products, we’re looking for a reliable and motivated Class 5 Truck & Trailer Operator to join our Brightwater team.
This is an opportunity to be part of a supportive, hardworking team where safety, reliability and quality are valued. Every day you’ll play an important role in supporting forestry and site operations while helping divert wood waste from landfill into valuable, sustainable products.
What you’ll be doing
* Safely operate a Class 5 truck and trailer.
* Driving on forestry roads and operating safely in forestry environments.
* Transport wood fibre and forestry products between customer sites and Azwood operations.
* Complete vehicle checks and maintain high standards of vehicle presentation.
* Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
* Work closely with the operations team to ensure efficient, reliable service.
What we’re looking for
* Full New Zealand Class 5 driver’s license.
* Tipper experience.
* HPMV experience preferred but not essential.
* WTR endorsement or experience is an advantage but training can be provided.
* Forestry driving experience preferred.
* A strong commitment to health and safety.
* Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently.
* A positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
* Someone who enjoys being part of a team and takes pride in their work.
