Housekeeping Assistant (Part-Time)

20 Hours per Week | Aged Residential Care | Training & Career Development Available

We are seeking a friendly and reliable Housekeeping Assistant to join our caring team in a residential aged care setting. This role plays an important part in ensuring our residents, visitors, and staff enjoy a clean, safe, and comfortable environment every day. The role focuses on maintaining high standards of cleanliness while supporting resident wellbeing and dignity.

About the Role

This is a part-time position of 20 hours per week, working:

  • 4 hours per day
  • 5 days per week
  • Availability to work at least one weekend day is essential

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the facility
  • Cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, and staff spaces
  • Following infection control and health & safety procedures
  • Managing cleaning equipment and supplies responsibly
  • Reporting maintenance issues and hazards
  • Supporting a positive, welcoming atmosphere for residents, families, and visitors
  • Working collaboratively as part of a supportive team environment

About You

Previous housekeeping, cleaning, hospitality, or aged care experience is preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided for the right person.
