About the Role | Mō te tūranga

 

We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Logistics Administrator to join our operations team on a 12-month fixed-term basis covering parental leave.

 

This role will be 25-hours per week for the first 6-months, and increase to 40-hours per week for the following 6-months.

 

This is a varied, hands-on role supporting procurement, inventory, product data, and logistics across our New Zealand and Australian operations. You’ll play an important role in keeping stock moving, purchase orders accurate, freight on track and product data clean and reliable. 

 

You’ll work across multiple areas of the business, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

 

What You’ll Be Doing | Ko āu mahi

 

Inventory & Stock

  • Keep track of stock movements and transfers between warehouses.
  • Monitor stock levels and flag low, excess or at-risk inventory.
  • Support stocktakes, cycle counts and 3PL reconciliations.
  • Investigate stock discrepancies and manage damaged or returned stock. 

Procurement & Orders

  • Create and manage purchase orders in our ERP system.
  • Follow up with suppliers on orders, deliveries and lead times.
  • Check freight invoices and ensure costs are accurate.
  • Keep purchasing records accurate and up to date.

Logistics & Freight

  • Track local and international shipments from order through to delivery.
  • Work with freight forwarders, customs brokers and warehouses to keep deliveries moving.
  • Coordinate incoming stock and ensure orders are received and closed correctly.
  • Maintain shipping and logistics documentation.

Product Data & Systems

  • Set up and maintain product SKUs, barcodes and product information into our ERP system (Odoo).
  • Keep product data accurate and up to date across our systems.
  • Regularly check data for errors, missing information and duplicates.

  

What We’re Looking For | Ko tā mātou e rapu nei

 

You’ll ideally have:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in administration, inventory, procurement or logistics support, ideally within retail, FMCG or wholesale.
  • Experience using an ERP system (Odoo experience is highly desirable).
  • Intermediate Google Sheets skills and confidence working with data.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and adapt quickly when things change.
  • A proactive, practical approach and a willingness to get stuck in and solve problems.

Most importantly, you’ll be someone who enjoys being part of the engine room of a growing business. You’ll be comfortable juggling priorities, working with different teams and taking ownership to make sure things get done properly.
